EICMA Show Statistics

The 2011 EICMA was the largest motorcycle show ever registered since the show began in 1914.

Over  470,000 enthusiasts paid to share in the EMOTIONS of the show.

The EICMA is the only non-for-profit Motorcycle Trade Show in the WORLD.  All proceeds from the show go towards the activities of the ANCMA - The Italian Motorcycle Manufacturers Association.  The Association owns and manages the EICMA, and over the years, it has become more than just another trade show.  It is now seen as the one of the most important shows in the world as well as the premier Motorcycle Trade Show in Europe.

Here's a quick look at some other interesting statistics from the 2011 show:

Over  54,000 TRADE Visitors come to see the 1462 International Brands on display.  During the six days of the show, the EICMA Press room becomes the information clearinghouse for the international Motorcycle industry press with over 3600 journalists scouring the show for industry news and Sports News.

If you decide to attend the 2012 EICMA, you'll be in good company.  Walking the aisles, you might see the Mayor of Milan, or the Governor of Lombardy or even the Prime Minister of Italy.  Between the Internationally famous Motorcycle racers and the Film/Television Celebrities, autographs signings are standard fare at the Milan Show.

The FIERA MILANO, or the Milan Convention Center in Rho, is one of the largest convention centers in the world.  The EICMA is one of the few international trade shows that even begins to fill up the various halls of the exhibit.

Here is a drawing of the overall plan of the show (the halls shown in red are the areas that are occupied by the International Motorcycle Show):
