Continued slamming of doors could lead to the loosening of the window guiding channels or even destruction to the regulator. And as a result of the damages, your side window might get stuck in place, or at worst, the window could go down into the door. So, avoid habitual slamming of doors, but the one-off cases may not be detrimental in a long time.
